Hi, im new to all this and I need some suggestions. After I do my 3in BL I want to get some new tires. I do a decent amount off wheeling, so i want some good offroad tires, but what tires/ sizes would you recommend? I have seen people running 35" tires with a 3in body lift but is it really worth it? and btw currently im running bridgestone dueler apt's 245/75/16 on my stock rims.

well i run 35's on a 3inch Bl i think its worth it i get extra ground clearance and i love the way it looks. I offroad and have no issues. I would recommend 33's if you dont want to trim anything.

Pushing 35's or even 33's with stock gearing and a 3.0 will be..... irritating, I promise.

You could run 33's with a body lift, 35's with some fender trimming.

You have a '99, so a cheap suspension lift is outta the question, you could crank your torsion bars for an additional 1.5-2" lift.

sweet thanks, how much fender trimming is required for the 35's? Can I see some pics? and should I stay with my stock rims?

well not much fender trimming is needed, i had to remove my factory fender flairs and mud flaps, i also trimmed out my front bumper valance and later removed due to damage. I would not keep stock rims just because they are only 7inchs wide and almost all 35's are 12inch wide tires and should be mounted on a 8inch rim. you can run 12inch tires on a 7inch rim you just get more of a bubble tire and could have a balancing issue as the tire wears.
