Hey guys! I have pretty much got all of my wires well organized and ready to be put back in a loom. But i cant find my Check engine light wire....? I know it is # 17 on the ranger pin-out and it is pink and Light green but i cant find where i cut it when i was getting all all of the 3.0 wires out of the truck. It has to be under the hood somewhere but i cant find the pink and green wire.
So I need to know were that wire runs into the dash at so i can have a check engine light again? Is it the same color as it is at the computer or does it change some where down the line? Also does any one know how i should hook my trucks check engine light wire into the 86 turbo coupe wiring harness. The only check engine light wire i can find in the t-birds runs to the self test plug. Is it ok to just tap into that wire?
