I got to drive an 08 XL at work with one. Not sure where it was from, but the units were kilometers, so must be canadian. Pretty dang nice truck too. I took it into our field and tried out the 4hi. Didnt flex too hot, having front and rear sway bars. I just crept up on the big dirt hills and had the right rear tire about 4 feet up, teetered a couple times, scared me.:scare:

There hasn't been a manual T-case in the Rangers for quite a few years. I really, really doubt that you'll see them return unless Ford does come out with a redesigned Ranger.

I am pretty sure the last year for the manual transfer case in the Ranger was 03. I am not aware of any later models with a manual transfer case.

Ford didn't put the t-case in his truck, or the front axle for that matter.
AFAIK, in the US, no Rangers have been available with a manual t-case since 2003. With export models, who knows.

Not doubting you, but is there any way you could get pics? This would be a very unusual truck.

If It's still there at work when I go on sunday I'll definitely take pics. It was sweet. It should still be there because cars from canada usually stay on our lot for a few weeks.
