I have heard rumors that you can disable your EGR valve and pick up a little power. Will it hurt anything?
 
it's not a good idea. Use the search button and you'll find many discussions on this matter. The main reason tho is it is VERY illegal. As in get caught and get a big fine.
 
no power increase, possible decrease in mileage and possible problems with spark knock.

Thats what i figured, its just that i had seen it on a couple other sites and wondered what yall thought about it.
 
ive seen those same sites. the ignorance amazes me, all i can do is shake my head :no2:
