At my work they sell the DIY kits of, i think, Line-x and i was thinking about using that on the rockers and up the body to that first bottom body line as a type of scratch proofing i guess. I hope somebody understands what im saying. Anyway i was just wondering if anyone has used this stuff, how well it works/ lasts, and if anyone has actually done what im talking about. Any recommendations or advice would be awesome.
Thanks!

I had a 74 bronco that had that type of application, but what it was called back then no idea this was in 1980...

I've also been thinking about doing something very similar. Although I've never personally applied any of them, I've heard that the big ones(rhino, line-x, ect.) are all pretty good. Perfect type of thing for rust and scratch proofing, but don't expect it to offer much for dent protection, because it won't.

Haha good advice^, I was looking at work today again and its actually Herculiner. So any experience with this??? I really only want it for how cool it looks and some scratch proofing because it is getting pretty dinged up down there from rocks flyin up and all and i definitly know it wont sstop dents. I wish though! planin on sliders for that, and maybe puttin the stuff on those too. So again any exp. or advice??
Thanks again!

I plan on getting the bottom part of my body rhino lined and also my bed. Water proof, rust proof, scratch proof, fade proof.

i just got done spraying my rockers an bumpers with the dupli color truck bed coating.. i shot it with a spray gun an the results are fantastic for 43 bucks a gallon... i did 2 coats an still have over half a gallon left so for the price it was great.. spraying it on leaves a better texture than rolling it on.

I was wondering how many old timers would catch that.
