This is my '98 XLT that I bought in April. I removed the stock blue stripe, did some corrosion repair on the hood and dent repair on the bed sides and striped it. I also customized the grill, I just did not like the look of the stock one. I hope this link works...

I really like that stripe, I think that might be a new idea that I havent seen. :icon_thumby: Have you got any larger pictures of the truck, or more pictures of it? What are your future plans?

Is there a pinstripe around the large stripe or are my eyes confusing me?
 
Thanks for the positive comments guys. The stripe is basically a copy of a '69 Mustang BOSS 302 stripe, a car I've always wanted but will probably never own. There is a 1/4" space between the 2" silver stripe and the 1/4" silver stripe on each side. There are 2 more pictures in the RBV photo gallery, including the modified grill, but I'm having trouble linking to them.

Plans include a set of 16" rims, preferably 5 spoke rims from a later model Ranger, and a pair of seats from an explorer. I use the truck as my winter driver, and go to the dump/home improvement store vehicle, so I won't mod it too much more than that. The best part is I only paid $2900.00 for the truck in April, and it only needed some buffing of the paint and front brakes, plus removing the ugly blue stock side stripe.
