recently lost 4th gear in my '86 Ranger. Sooo...I bought a different tranny, AND still no 4th gear. It pops right back out as soon as i let the clutch out. Could something be misaligned in the drivetrain? I have read that worn tranny mounts may do this. It's a manual Mitsubishi 145, 5 speed, behind a 2.9 liter.
