I am about to install a 3" body lift kit on my 2000 Ranger 4x4 and i was wondering what the pros and cons were on a t-bar crank and what tools i would need to do it. Thanks

a floor jack, measuring tape, and a socket wrench are about all you need.

edit: oh and it's definitely worth your time to WD-40 the hell out of those bolt about 2 hours before. Mine weren't too bad but I still needed to use some.

pros: about 2 inches of lift
clear bigger tires
improve approach angle
I've noticed more roll stability in turns with the stiff front end
free installation, only took me about an hour.

cons: less downtravel so a little stiffer ride but not much
have to be careful of cranking them too high which could risk cv joint angles and wear them down faster.
