Next month, and guy from work and I will be in Santa Ana CA for three days of training, and we're looking to spend a day or two afterwards touring around the area. We'd like to do some offroading and we're both experienced offroaders.
Mainly, I'm looking for suggestions of somewhere to rent an offroad vehicle (most likely a Jeep), and see some of California. Anywhere within 2-3 hours of Santa Ana would be great. I realize that we could just rent something from a "normal" rental car company, but we're looking for something that's mildly built and a more capable than a stock 4x4.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
