electronic automatic temp control

The blower fan on my 97 explorer limited was only working on high.,blower motor resistor,right?..wrong..Called Ford 184.00 for resistor.....no way, so i pulled it and it looks like a black box w/a circuit board attached. Called Ford again they said they might have some at cent. distrubution in mid Dec.none avail.So i go junk yarding.....every one is gone, its hard enough just to find a ford prod. w/ auto climate controls...finally after 7 junkyards I found 1 on a E.B explorer and it works.......Moral of story...If you have a explorer/ranger w/ this climate controls even if it still works,and your at the salvage yard, if you see one of these...GRAB IT.....hell,you could at least sell it on ebay.
 
I can get the resistors for the EATC all day long for around $60 from my local dealerships. I had to replace mine when I installed the EATC into my '97 Ranger.
 
Not on the west coast. no after market. no dealership stock. junkyards only.
 
Have you tried www.fordparts.com?

If you have, do you want me to see about getting you one and shipping it to you?
