93 ranger 2wd help

this isnt my truck as i have an 01 edge..

my buddy has a 93 ranger edge and is looking to mod it pretty inexpensively but be able to have some fun with it in prerunner fashion.

i see a lot of stuff about these beams etc but i have no clue what it is since i run a completely different suspension setup then him..

any help or pointers on getting him setup cheap with a bit of lift up front and some travel for cheap would be great. thanks! and we dont have a welder so just go fab this answers wont really work. if you can make em and ship em.. hell buy em

also hes been looking at doing a new rear leaf setup.. any ideas on cheap leafs without having to do a crazy bed cage or much fab work?

bent beams kits are the chepest way to go, with, bent beams, modified stock radius arms and a longer coil spring, good for 4 inches of lift.all in all will run about $800 autofab.com....econo kit.....also has a extend radius arm "middle of the road kit if you would prefer to stay stock width.

next step would be extend beams.And longer radius arms....you can run a coil spring and a coil bucket with some kits...and some kits are coil over only.

dave@threat has really good bang for the buck kit for extend beam kits if your looking to stay around the 1500 dollar range.and run a coil bucket set up.

after that, you in coil over only land.With equal lenth kits

There are a handfull of other compines as well that make kits too.B ut unless your looking to run tires bigger than 35's, and go for the overall at the 1000 in 7open.....or you want the "billet pretty"
