Hey TRS'ers,
Right door on my 96 Ranger would not unlock with key.
Got manual door locks, thought I had an easy fix.
However, once I took the panel off and started looking
around, found a stupid little plastic piece(door lock "pawl")
was broken.
I checked all the usual parts places, no body had this piece.
(they did for older 80's Rangers) Local bone yards were my
next stop, only they won't let me rob part off of "good" door.
No luck on finding a wrecked door I could cannibalize.
Anyone know of a source for this kind of stuff?
Forgot to mention, it's a bitch to get your hand on the back
of the lock cylinder too. Fun, fun.
