My '95 3.0 pukes out alot of white/blue smoke when its cold, as it warms up it goes away, the exhaust does'nt smell sweet, but it smells oily only when cold.
Going head gasket???
rings/valve seals?

My dad has the same problem with his 87 2.9. I know it's a completely different beast but the same exact situation. One mechanic said it was the rings, a different mechanic said it was a small crack in the head. He still hasn't figured it out. I don't trust either of those mechanics though. Most of them just want your $$$$. He said it smokes worst when he parks forward facing down hill. Is the case with yours? I can call him tonight and see if he has made any progress with it and let you know.

valve seals should be at the top of the list, followed by rings and MAYBE a bad head gasket/cracked head (but i doubt it).

also check your crank breather to be sure oil isnt entering the intake that way.

ok thanks....and i always park facing uphill...so i guess ill try facing the otherway and see if it gets worse
yeah i figured the valve seals would be bad.
