i just want to say thanks to everyone for the wealth of info avilable here. i had rough idle poor gas mileage and black smoke. Did some searching and came up with a bad fuel pressure regulator. replaced regulator no more issues. so many thanks.

Yeh I cant even fathom how much knowledge is on this website. And I only stick to a handful of the sub-forums to keep my mind from blowing!
