hey everyone. thanks to mike pecor for referring me to the site. i got a 1990 ranger extended cab 2.9 manual. push button 4x4. its mostly stock and fortunately came with the dana35. i am wanting to make it into a good trail rig...i purchased it about a month ago and is my 2nd ranger but first 4x4. it had a blown intake manifold gasket and im just now replacing it. i have torn out the carpet and done a spray on liner. i want to lift it enough to get some decent sized tires on it and fix the gearing to perform better. any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. i will put pics on as soon as she gets running

Welcome to the site, it's full of people who can answer any questions you may have about building up a truck. Give us some details on budget, terrain and what kind of wheeling you want to do and go from there.

well i do go to and around yosemite national park alot and i dont really have a budget...lol. i consider this my pride and joy. i always been a ford guy. i have an 88 f-250 7.3 deisel 4x4 manual hubs manual transmission but with prices of fuel i downsized you could say. theres lots of mud around california and i wanna find it. help me out on building this baby. and hopefully i can go trailing with somebody on this site...i dont mind going out of state. i just want to be out and exploring...haha.
