If you have fuel, spark, and compression, the engine has to run. (unless there's significant mechanical damage, like a rod sticking out of the block)

Pull the plugs and shoot some oil to lube the top end some. Check the gas tank for leaks. Sitting is rougher on a vehicle than I ever thought. If it will turn over but not fire, pull the spout and try it with the spout disconnected. If it fires you have a computer issue... Get another computer. Pull the valve covers and make sure you are getting oil to the top end. If not check the oil pressure. If it doesn't fluctuate you'll have around 40 to 50 of oil pressure which should be enough to get the top end oiled. If there is decent oil pressure then you probably have a blockage in the oil gallys somewhere. This is what I contended with when I fired my Ranger up after it sat for 3 1/2 years. Gas tank leaked like a siv. Computer was jacked up. 40 lbs. of oil pressure but no oil to thee top end... I'm still working on mine a little at a time. Best of luck to you.

My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
yeah, sitting for car is bad. Cars need to run, be driven, loved. A car that is neglected and sits around after a while gives up.
