1988 Ranger 2.9 cranks over OK But!!!!

HELP PLEASE!!!
I am at wits end, my b.i.l's 2.9 will not run period thought it was the fuel pump in the tank as it could not be heard with the key on. took out the tank and the pump is good put tank back (real pain) replaced the high pressure pump still nothing, replaced the module on right fender nothing. If I jump the pins it will pump and have pressure in the rail but still will not fire. Only thing left is the cpu and the enertia switch is OK. Any suggestions on this.

and you have fire at the cylinders?

Nope no spark and what really stinks is that the bat was removed so the puter is no code.

no spark to the cylinders or to the distributor? and if it aint at the dist, backtrack to the coil

The pump will not turn on with the key and I am getting power to the relay but using a jumper I can get the pump to run doing the test on jumping the diff pins it fails, tried diff dist module to no good, almost ready to take it to Ford.

check the wiring around the relays, check all the fuses(first, including the big ones) noticed the last few harness i had, dew to age, the wire where starting to break around the relays),

Check all of your grounds too.
