i just bought a 8.8 from a explorer (rear disc brakes). for my 1988 bronco II. Looking at it the third member favors the passenger side therefor the compound angle from transfer case flange to rear diff flange is off???? Are we going to have to swap axle and axle tube from side to side to center third member???? And will that give me a straight line from trans to diff!! Please help!!!! thanks Oz man!
Nope, just weld perches on the top of the axle. If the diff was offset when the axle was under the Explorer, why would it matter if it was offset under the BII?

The offset will NOT hurt the Bronco II. I have an Explorer 8.8 in my Bronco II and it is fine.
Just be sure to get your pinion angle correct.
You might need the master cylinder from the Explorer too. If your Bronco II doesn't have factory rear ABS, then you will need to swap out the stock brake master cylinder for the one from the Explorer. It is a direct swap if you have too.
