i am using the 5.0 explorer manifolds on the ranger,my question is ,bends for the exhaust pipe from the manifold to the convertor.what degrees?and diameter size of pipe. there is a pipe bender at my work.the pasenger side looks like it is going to be quite tight of a bend

Do Your Exhaust Homework Before Building

Are you kidding? Each of us is custom - a wee bit different. I don't think any two of us would be exactly identical. Ranger V8 Conversions are not created equal.

What diameter size do you want? You'll probably find anything from 2", to 4". Remember, bigger is not necessarily better. Depends upon your build and application. (Read the Tech Library!) Its better to over-plan, than it is to over-size. If you foolishly think you'll get an outstanding flow from a 3" or 3-1/2" exhaust with a stock engine, guess again. You'll kill your low end torque, and be very dissappointed with the results. Not to mention the expense on doing it again! Read, do your homework, and read some more.
Yes, there are locations where both sides get tight.
