I'm swapping out the the tranny in my ranger with a c4. I have a c4 and and a 302 in it now. I'm just not sure how to hook up everything. I've got a question about the shifter on the tranny.

This is the end of my shifter lever cable

and this is the shifter levers on the new tranny

It has two shift levers. What does each one do. I only have one shifter lever cable. How do I hook this up? Also, what other connections do I have to take of before removing and installing the new tranny? My tranny has no electrical wiring, but the new one does. Do I need it? Will anything be different between the two?

Thanks. I haven't done this before.

Top one is the kickdown lever. Bottom is the shifter. You some how have to connect your shift cable to the bottom lever.
