First I would like to say that was an excellent article.

I really enjoyed it. I would love to have that 1959 Ford 4wd pickup. that is bad ass looking.
I was looking at the 1941 Ford GPV and I noticed that Willys was not mentioned. They co produced the Jeep with Ford for the first year or so, and then produced it from there on out until the 1960's I believe, when it became Jeep and then in the 80's Chrysler bought them from Renault. The difference between the Ford and Willys design was the engine in the Ford had the intake on the opposite side of the engine in the Willys version I believe. I would also like to see a surviving 4 wheel steering JP as well.
While you missed the Jeep run entirely, the other obscure 4 x4 makes were awesome. Glad to see that some of the early makers are still in business.
A question, is Marmon still in Indy? if so, I wonder if they have a museum...I live right next to Indy, I would love to see their stuff first hand.
