Is it possible to meld the injector harness from and F-150(5.0) into my 92' (2.3) Ranger swap? I really don't want to rip out the whole Ranger wiring harness if I don't have to for my V-8 swap.
 
85-86 are the best donors(what ill be using) when the f150 changed the front end they integrated the 5.0 harness into the underhood harness, you have the wire the 4 plugs from the engine to the computer and 95-96(maf) im not quite shure,
 
What about one from a Mustang?

My self I would go Stang setup. But then I have converted my 86 t-bird. Also I have no idea about your harness in your truck. All I can say is read, read and when your getting pissed of about reading do some more reading. Just use google there is a lot of info on how to convert and what each wire is. Have fun I know I did when I tryed to put a 92 T-Bird ecm into a 86 Bird. Before I used to have 93 gt ecm(mass air) in my bird and it went like a bat out of hell. I think I messed up some wiring. Pulling pins from ecm.
I have the wiring diagrams some where on a harddrive but its all on paper at this time. Not sure which one its on.

The system that was in the truck had MAF, no distributor, and eight spark plugs, 2 per cylinder.

And I am sick of reading half truths and all lies, thats why I'm here asking the pros.:icon_thumby:

It sounds like you are asking a wiring question, and haven't yet purchased the wiring diagrams. You need at least 2 diagrams - one for the donor - one for the recipient. Studying the diagrams will answer your question for you.

Do you intend to run the 5.0L using the 2.3L's computer? Good luck with the pin-outs and the programming.

I have a Ford Mustang computer(5.0, 5-speed) and the mustang's wiring harness. I converted to MAF vs speed density, but I don't know if I can get by with the f-150's harness or if I can use the mustang.

I looked it over and the mustang has 10 pin connectors vs the truck's 8 pin connectors at the injector harness, so I might have to modify the truck's injector harness.
 
I used a speed density computer and wiring harness that came from the donor vehicle. I unplugged all of the plugs for the ranger wiring and just had plug ends left which i spliced my donor harness into. You need wiring diagrams to do this of both vehicles.
