After I installed the kit on my 2005 Ranger I found that the daytime lights run off the low beam on this truck and now with my lights off I get the hid lights flickering because daytime running lights is only about 8 volts. How do I dissable daytime running lights? There is no fuse. Is there a box to unplug somewhere?

Does anyone know where the DRL resistor is? I'm thinking if I unplug that I will be fine but I can't find it on this truck.
put the factory lights back in it. take it to ford and tell them you work on a military base and they will deprogram the daytime running lights (turn them off) or cut the low beam wire and run low beam power directly to the switch and use a solenoid to run your HIDs.

read that for setting up your HIDs

HID's are not designed to run on a DRL vehicle...
nope, you either need them turned off (because of multi-plexing and shit I don't have a firm grasp on) or clip em. run your power for your HIDs from the battery with a solenoid to turn them on and off (wire your solenoid from your headlight switch.
