serp belt installing ASAP???

ok well i thnk my ac motor is starting to seize an my ac doesnt work but the guy left the ac motor on can i just take the ac motor off an put a serp belt for a non ac motor on it?

its a compressor, not a motor.

if the compressor is seized up, unplug the electrical connection going to it and leave it be.

so do i leave the belt that fits with the ac compressor or can i put a non ac belt on?

you could remove the compressor from the engine and buy a belt for a non-a/c truck...but why? its a lot easier (and cheaper) to just unplug the compressor clutch.

if your worried the compressor will be costing you power, it wont.

if your really into it, you could turn the compressor into an on-board air compressor :icon_welder:
