I figure this would be the spot for this if not sorry. Today at work i had a 94 4x4 ranger come into to get some parts its a nice truck 6" lift extended radius arms good looking kit not sure what it is its all black but to the point now. He has stock coil buckets with the shocks bolted on the outside top of the coil bucket just like this had to borrow and modify the f150 coil swap right up hope thats ok but here it is
Shock Relocation

didnt get a chance to ask him about it store was busy at the time what to you guys think of mounting there as a short term for a little bit longer shock not much but gives you options, mostly cause i have a set of rancho 9000s that my dad gave me when he decided to do a different lift on his 69 EB

on the outside the the coilspring/bucket?....depending on your set up if you have abunch of bump travel, and depending on the offset of your rims etc, the tires might want to rub the shock.....

if you got a welder, and want to do somethign simple, you could do something like this

and you would not have trouble with the tire wanting to bite the shock.

oh i was just wondering how it would hold up, i myself am doing the f250 shock tower swap on mine. just thought i would share something different that i saw and ask about it
