I just bought a set of wheels that are 15 x 10 with 31 x 11.50 cooper tires on them. The tires are in fair condition but won't last long, the problem is local tire dealers tell me they can't get 31 x 11.50's. I thought you needed a 8 or 9 inch wheel for 31 x 10.50's. Will 31 x 10.50's fit on a 10 inch wheel?

NO! Heck I wouldnt put an 11.50 on a 10 inch wheel, heck mine are 14.50 on a 10 inch wheel.

^ not sure what hes talking about...but yes you can put 10.50's on a 10" rim. the general "rule" is to keep your tire and wheel widths within 2" of one another.

but if your local tire place says they cant get 11.50's, then id find a new tire shop. 11.50's, while not as popular as 10.50's, are easy enough to order.

Ya 31x11.50s are fairly easy to find. I never had a problem at all finding then when I still ran that size on my truck
