Guy's. can anybody tell me what this exact part is?

the part I circled, whats the exact name of it?
 
header panel, lot bigger then it looks at first and it holds up your headlights etc.....also kind of a pain in the ass to remove...

is there anyway to adjust the header panel?
 
Not that I know of, it bolts straight to the core support and fenders.
 
**** man! how hard and longs it take to remove?
 
First time I did it...45min? There's screws into the fender you have to get at from behind the inner fenderwell etc....not hard, just a pain in the ass....

hopefully it can be adjusted. only reason why im wondering is because my headlights point straight at the ground even with hids. could be the headlights too. there the black projector lights. i rearended someone last year and i think it pushed it down a bit, only 20 bucks worth of damage lol, but anyways. hopefull it can be adjusted to bring my lights up. i bought the headlight adjusting tool for 22 bucks. and that helped very little. both headlights are maxed out. get back to me. thank you
 
There isn't any adjustment on the header panel, if its facing down like that the front of ur truck (core support fenders etc.) are prolly still tweaked a bit. look for crinkles on ur inner fenders and see if the the little flair around ur fender looks like their sticking out too far. Don't know how hard of a hit the truck took but that sounds like the most probable situation.
 
can anyone tell me what it is on my truck bc i can't find it. im converting mine to an 06 and can't find that piece and its not the header panel

that looks like the grill. the honeycomb part is seperate but thats part of the grill.
 
ok i found it the part on the 06's are on the front panel so is the front panel the header panel? heres a pic of it. its the number 2 part

That's the grill support. Just a big plastic peice right?

Try LMC truck....
 
They call that part a "stone deflector" on your truck..

On the one with the honeycomb grill it is intergrated into the grill assy.
 
i don't need if for my truck i need if for an 06 im converting my front end to an 06 stx. the piece under the headlights are separate from the grille and is part of the front panel i just don't know if the front panel is the same as the header panel thats what im asking?
