does anyone know of any free cad software thats relatively easy to use? I'm going to be attempting some 4 link and 3 link designs and want to be able to see em flex before i build em
 
google draw/sketch up is free I belive......

none of them are point,click, draw, flex. you have to draw each part,etcetc

there are some tuts on youtube and such for google sketch up

never used it so cant give you any first hand help
 
What you want isn't free. Google sketch-up might work, but I found it to be rather complicated to use when compared to other 3-D graphics software I've used. Solidworks and Pro/E both have Student/Trial versions available.

Have you looked at "Triaged" 3-link and 4-link design software available for free download?
