My kid just got an 89 stang with the 2.3 and the factory airbox is gone ( along with the evap can)
can anyone tell me what this electrical connector is for and if I need to deal with it?
Thanks in advance

Weird, I was at the wreckers today and there was a stock one there with the same connector laying there unhooked... I couldn't even find anything that it might have been hooked to..

Ya,stock air box etc...
I'm going back to get it and I'll be able to see once the box is off..
I'm guessing it's under the air cleaner.
