Edge height vs XLT height

I own a 2007 XLT 2wd 3.0 manual and I have noticed the 2007 Edge 2wd sits higher than my XLT. I have 15" rims and the Edge has 16" rims. The height difference is much greater than the difference of the tires and rims.

What makes the 2wd Edge sit higher than my 2wd XLT?

An Edge basically has a 4wd suspension (torsion bars, vs coil springs on XL and XLT's). I'm not sure if they have rear lift blocks or not.

I'm pretty sure 2wd Edges have rear lift blocks like a 4x4.
