C-4 upgradable?

howdy, i have c-4 behind a 302 with 3.73 rearend. it runs good but, i was wondering if anybody knows what or if you can do to make it cruise at a more relaxed speed. the motor runs pretty high rpm at 60 mph. like a aftermarket bolt on overdrive or a two speed like a two ton truck would have. rather than change all the gearing. all the while keeping it cost worthy and not thru the roof.

http://www.drivetrain.com/new_overdrive/Ford3speedautomatic/overdriveford3spdauto.html this the only link i could find, it's to a gearvendors site and they are kinda pricey [$2200] you might be cheaper to convert to an AOD if you want an overdive tranny or change your gear ratio :dntknw:

There are a few ways to go about this problem. First off what do you do with the truck? If you are set on keeping the C4 you can do any or all of these: add an aftermarket overdrive (expensive), regear the axle or go to a larger tire. Aside from that you would need to pull the C4 and replace it with an AOD to get the overdrive gear.
