IS a dana 28 spindle a dana 28 spindle? I got one from the junkyard off the driver side of a 87 b-2. My 89 ranger needs passenger side. ANy ideas?

Have you tried it on the passenger side? That's the best way to tell. I've looked at some diagrams and I think it should fit ok...somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

they're the same,make sure the little roller bearing on the back side of the spindle is in good shape and has fresh grease.it doesn't matter with manual hubs but with auto hubs you want to bolt the spindle back on with the keyway facing up.
