I have 3.73 gears and am wondering how much it would cost to get 4.10 gears and where to get them....also do I have to get a whole new axle to do this?

call 4wheelparts for the gears and price. It may be cheaper to find Ranger axles, but new axles are not required

the gears will probably run $2-300 a set...but the big problem is the labor cost. setting up an R&P is not a project most backyard mechanics can tackle (due to special tools and procedures required). most shops charge between $5-600 to set up a set of gears.
