94 ranger xlt 4cyl 8 plugs

i have a 4 cyl ranger has 8 plugs 3 of the 8 arent firing. im lost. i tried 2 change the coil wires plugs even the module mounted on the side of the intake. nothen seems 2 work. can someone lead me n the right direction?
 
Check the resistance on the coil packs. You'll need a DMM and Chiltons for the test procedure.
 
do i need to do that with new packs? whats that going to show a ground issue or something?
 
A bad coil pack will show high resistance and cause spark problems.
