Need more lift!

My truck....87stx with the highrider package= factory 2inch lift. If I oder a 4inch lift is it going to work with the factory one?, or will it be a booger trying to get one to work.
 
I have a PM talk going on right now about this subject. Give it a few more days and should have solid info for this.

If you cant wait, look up post by kunar as he has played with this abunch
 
a 4 inch lift will probaly only get u 2 inches of lift b/c u have the factory 2 inch lift. Easiest way is put some washers under the coils to get 2 inches of lift then u will be at 4 inches total over a stock ranger
 
It will work fine as long as you use a lift that replaces the brackets and dousn't use drop plates so you will be fine with skyjacker, Tuff Country or a Duff lift
 
A 4in lift will only raise an STX high rider 2".

Now, since the highriders have dropped brackets, you can probably get away with sticking a 3 or 4" coil (which would only be 1-2" taller than a high rider coil), and with use of adjustable alignment bushings, be able to align it properly again.
