Help, I need to find a bed cover!

This is my first post on the forum so let me first introduce myself by saying... My name is Jonny Freese and I live in Torrance, Ca. Also known as the "South Bay" area. Currently, I'm enrolled in school at the College of Oceaneering in Wilmington, Ca studying to become a commercial diver. I'm 18 years old and my parents bought me my Blue 07' Ford Ranger Sport V6 Regular Cab about six months ago, so it's completely stock. But I definitly wanna change that.

Anyways, I need to find a place who has a good deal on a bed cover for this specific truck. Anybody know of where I could find one at a decent price somewhere local, or should I get it used? It needs to be blue and I'm down to buy it online if the price is right and I can't find one locally. Any help is appreciated.

Try Craigs List. If you were in the SF bay area there is one for sale for $225. So I would check there to save a lot of money.

I've had a Gemtop GT Classic for 8.5 years and I'm VERY pleased with it. STEEL deck, super-low profile/flush fit, great hwy gas mileage. The only downside is you have maybe an inch less vertical space vs. a "humped up" fiberglass cover, like the SNUGtop.

Only thing I'd do different is get the 2-LOCK version, one in each corner, instead of the single center lock. No one's ever messed with mine, but you can pry up one corner, and peek in with a flashlight. :shok:

The lock in each corner would prevent that, but take a moment longer to lock/unlock.

Easy to remove, but helps to have a 2nd person. It weighs about 75-80 lbs., and is UNwieldy.

You send them the paint code found on your door jam, and they paint it to match with the identical Ford paint. Perfect. $755 for a 6' Ranger bed.
