Hi all been lurking here about a week and like this ranger forum out of al the ones I have found. Most of the other one are slow or only have new rangers.
Anyway Reason im here is I may or may not be getting a 2nd(i hope) gen v6 4x4 5 speed standard cab short bed. It has been sitting at a friend of a friends house for 8 months. I haven't seen it yet but supposedly there is no rust but it has a bad clutch. My friend says its defintly a manual 4x4 and v6 and thinks its a 4.0 but doesnt know the year. 91-92 if its a 4.0, 2.9 if its 90 or earlier right?
Right now i have a pos Accord 5 speed that keeps breaking down on me. its got 125k on it and this year has cost me 3600 dollars in repairs ( and thats mostly parts since I do most of my own work. This car makes that hard since alot of the parts are pressed on and need a press.
Its my first import car and more then likely my last. At least my last honda. Hope to get this ranger and get it going so I can sell my accord to some rice burner while nothing is wrong with it ( knock on wood) and I can still get some money out of it.
