ok this sounds crazy and crap....working at an auto part store right...guy that i work with makes crazy shit.....put a 350 into a caviler...:icon_rofl:ans other odd ball shit

well this is what just happen....he picked up a 2007 that was smashed in the back for $8000..and he knows that i have a mint bs laying around with a dead a4ld....was thinking of stickin in a 302 for the hell of it....but he wants to try the eco boost in the b2

what would it take....will it evan fit in the frame rails...also will a RWD tranny fit behind the eco boost>

guy wants me to get as much info on this...he will by my b2 and let me drive it when he is done:3gears::derisive:

or he is going to do somethin else with the motor:bad:

Ecoboost isn't in production yet. The only way the 3.5 comes is naturually aspirated at 265 horsepower and 250 torque. It's supposed to have a super long and flat torque curve though.

I don't know about what bolt pattern it uses for the tranny. I'd guess it's the same as the 3.0 duratech but I'm not sure.

but isnt the new 3.5 a dummy vertion of the eco boost with out the turbos.......where as the fuel get injected direcly in the burning chamber and not ontop of the valve like the multiport does?

No DI (direct injection) yet either. It might be available naturally aspirated on the new 08 Lincoln MKS but it definately wasn't on a ford in 2007.

well that sucks...he can go ahead and and put it in somethin else....so the new 3.5 and just an other motor that is out right now?
