Last year (12,000 miles ago), I replaced the clutch, slave, and bearings in my '97 Ranger (4x4, 4.0). Everything has been fine since, but recently I've been having trouble getting the thing out of gear, and occasionally into 1st from a stop. It doesn't pull when stopped and still in gear with the clutch pushed in, but it feels like that may be coming.
I didn't replace the master with everything else last year, but I know it's not leaking. From what I've gathered reading the other posts, this sounds like it could be an air bubble in the master or a junk slave... Can anyone lend me some advice? New slave? New master? New Truck?

Thanks

Sounds like you have an air bubble in your hydraulics, and the clutch is just barely engaged. Pump the pedal, see if that helps, if so, try bleeding the clutch.

I've found that dumping/ popping the clutch is what usually causes this. It seems like when the clutch is rapidly relased it sucks in a little air. happens to me everytime I get ticked off and drive like an a$$#@!e. And mine's all new as well, except the line and the master.
