Went on a light wheeling trip up to the local mud pit/mountain. Had a great time, though I was riding shotgun in the ranger. We sunk the ranger in clay a couple of times, and sadly had to get rescued by the jeep, got a couple bent up bumpers, the pathfinder was dragging his ass end on some of the hills so kept it easy. :headbang:

As you can see, someone was having fun with a shotgun up here (not us)

Awesome shots, looks like a really fun place. But come on, rescued by a jeep? You're supposed to be the one pulling him out. Though it looks like later on you did so it all kind of works out in the end.

Wow, that is some view! Have to say, that I am jealous!

looks like you got even with the heep in the end by yanking him out of the mud :icon_cheers:

looks like a good time. i really like the pic of your truck in front of the rock face, what with the mist and all.

Gotta reinforce the fact that its not my truck, it is owned by a friend of mine, though i wouldn't complain :P I'll be building a new ranger soon, college set me back! I'll ask him about the rims, and pass on the compliments!

gotta love stave. great mud pits/flats. tons of trucks. apparently some good trails (haven't tried them) and some pretty nice scenery.

yup that was up at stave. And the fender flares are oem ford bronco2 he says, the rear had to be trimmed a bit to fit the ranger bed

I like his tool box placement in a couple of the pics. LOL! Guessing he has the old j hook trick with loose hooks. I've have that happen to me, recently. Just not slide that far back. LOL!

He's got alot of weight in the box, and atm it isn't bolted down (he had the box out the day before we went up), it moves around, but it would take a rollover to get that thing out of there
