working (again) on my '89 escort. while driving i get random 41 and 42 (rich and lean) codes. back-probed the O2 while idling and the thing is pegged over 1 volt (closer to 1.1, sometimes even 1.2 
). no O2 switching. even unhooking a vacuum hose wont bring it below 0.9v or so.
fuel pressure is within specs. tried the O2 sensor from my other car with no change. fuel pressure regulator hose is dry. timing is set. what the heck is causing this car to run so rich?
