need some help with the jeep

hey, guys, just re did the intake/exaust gasket on mommas jeep, and now it has a hige high idle problem, its a 97, wrangler, 2.5 I4, 5 speed

any ideas or sugestions, i gotta drive it until the ranger is on the road, so i want it to run correctley

Sounds like a vacuum leak, go over your work and make sure you didn't miss something, or knock off, or damage a vacuum line. Also spray around the new intake gasket w/ carb cleaner and listen for the idle surging.
