Ok, so I’ve got this bad vibration that started around the time I hit a pothole going 60. It starts at 25mph, but its only a slight “bump.” It peaks at 35 (like going down a bad washboard road, shaking the whole truck) and begins to taper off the higher the speed, until unnoticeable (at around 45-50 mph). It doesn’t matter what gear I’m in, if the clutch is disengaged, or if I brake, but it does seem to lessen when I am accelerating, and worsen when slowing down through 35mph. I just got new tires, balance, and rims inspected for damage to see if that would fix it, but no dice. I spun the wheels and didn’t notice anything other than the front left wheel “sticking” slightly, but still spinning without a tell tale grating sound. I’m thinking it could be a number of different problems:
Mis-alignment
Wheel Bearings
Drive Shaft/U joint
Bent axle (I hope not)
Has anyone dealt with this before on a and can point me in the right direction? Thanks
