I have a 2201 Ford Ranger 4x4, clutch went out, No pressure goes right to floor.

I replaced the Slave Drive and still nothing. I bought a Clutch Kit and replaced clutch and Pressure Plate, still nothing.

What else could be the problem? I have worked on this truck for 4 days now and can't figure this out and I need to get this truck on the road as I am missing work.

There is just no pressure when clutch is pressed, could this be a problem with bleeding it? I have read allot of people have problems with that.

Everything else seems fine and should be working properly.

Any advice would greatrly be appreciated.

Did it run out of fluid? If so, then yes, it's a problem bleeding it. I really can't explain it beyond that, since I've never had the slightest trouble bleed hydraulics on any of my vehicles, and I don't understand why others seem to.

Was it even low on fluid? If not it's a case of replacing the wrong parts.

How did you get a truck 193 years in the future? Do they still use hydraulic clutches?

Ranger- no clutch pressure

well, at least you made me laugh...
2001 Ranger I meant..

No it never got low on fluid.

I just can't figure it out, I read allot of horror stories today though about people having trouble bleeding the line and getting the pressure back.

I don't know what else could be wrong with it..?

Did you replace the master cylinder along with everything else? Maybe your master cylinder gave out.
