351 conversion

I was going to put 302 in my 92 ranger 4x4 3" body lift. I have acquiered a 351 with about 40,000 miles on it so I figured why not. I'm in the process of collecting every thing I need for the change. I was woundering if the 3" body lift is a big help as far as the exhaust system? If somebody has done the same change I will more than likely have more questions.

I think the exhaust/steering clearance is the biggest problem with the 351W swap.
There are a couple of guys on here that can answer your questions in more detail.

3" body will help alot with 302...........bound to help with the 351 also.
i still had to do a little firewall mod (BFH)

Do you have any pics.? I also plan on putting in a MD05-R2 manual tranny in it .

that trans will not hold up to a 351
