I need to remove the rear window on my 93 Ranger XLT. The Rear window is a slider and I keep finding good slider setups at pick n pull. How do I remove this window. It seem you pry the rubber boot from the window frame but that just seems too good to be true . I don't see it but I would think it would be glued in with sealant. How do you do this?

thanks!

its bolts in from inside the cab, remove the plastic from inside around the window and there is a bunch of nuts holding it in, there will be window sealant too but you wont get it out without removing the nuts first

Is it difficult to get to these bolts? On a scale of 1 (easy) to 5 (very difficult) how difficult would this be to remove and Install into my ranger?

very easy, just a matter of taking the plastic surrounding the window off and taking the nuts off, they are 8mm or 10mm nuts and there is prob about 15 or something like that.

depends if its a super cab or not. I put in a slider an all i had to do to my reg. cab is pull the seal off from the inside and push it out - no bolts, no nothing..although its good to have someone help for this part. If its a super, then there are screws to be removed when you pull up the seal - possibly at the bottom center of the frame; remove them and as well, push. remove and replace with new window and you are done!

my bad for not including that it is a Regular cab. So all I do is just pull out the inner seal, push the window outward, install the new one from the inside then replace the seal? No sealants or anything to remove or install?
