Max tires for a 2WD 2.3L with a 3.73 rear end

I know topic's like this have been covered to high hell, but through searching I couldn't find anything exact on this. I'm going to be doing a 3" suspension lift and getting bigger tires. I was wondering how big I could go on my tires until I can swap my rear end for a 4.10. I don't know what my 3.73 could handle with my 2.3L.

If anyone could give me an answer or send me to a thread this has already been covered in that would be awesome.

I had 30x9.50 with my stock 3.73 on my 2.3 7.5 with the stock 3.73, it was alright, then i swapped out the 3.73 with 4.56 and it was much better and now I run 33x1250's just fine.

What kind of a mileage decrease did you see with your upgrade?

When I switched from the factory 225/70-15 to a taller 235/75-15 it basically killed my acceleration. Braking was also adversly affected, and thats with 11.25" rotors. On the good side, it did boost my gas mileage by 1 mpg.

05 XL regular cab, 2.3 5sp.

I thought about braking being affected so I grabbed the whole 4WD master cylinder and pump. Good to know gas mileage shouldn't be effected.
