A static drop is one that you can not easily change your ride height. These are your 3/4, 5/7, and so on drops. The truck has been lowered so far and stays at that height unless you do suspension work.
When you put hydros or bags on a truck it is not considered a static truck because the truck can be lowered and lifted at the flip of some switches without have to spend time doing suspension work.

Im guessing its not 3/4 of an inch so what do 3/4 5/7 signify?

Those specify how much (in inches) that the Front/Rear of the truck was lowered.
I have a 4/4 drop. 4" front drop, and 4" rear drop.
Left to Right, front to back...

thats cool. Its what I figured, becasue 3/4" is nearly nothing, but 4" and 4" thats quite a bit.

Not really...
I did start rubbing the inner fender when I cut my springs down a hair. I was just going to stick with the 3/4, but the truck sat level and I honestly am not a fan of level trucks. I like them to be raked with wider tires in the back. That's where my 1.5" spacers come in handy. Makes it "look" like I have bigger tires while I really don't.
For driving's sake, I'm keeping the drop right there. I don't have any desire to go bagged or sit level.

A 3/4 is more than enough, if you have no intention of notching your frame. The drop, and lo-pro skins will get you really close to the pavement, yet keep the original feel of the suspension and drive.
I still run full size 15" rubber, and have ground off at least an inch of the factory mud-guards. I do not rub the tire at all.

Depending on how you drop the rear, you won't have to notch it for even 6" of drop. I didn't do a flip kit, I bought drop leaves for mine. I cut my bump stops in half and that is the only mod I have to do. If you go 5" up front, same deal, cut your bump stops. I can't run OEM tire size. I had 225/70/14 stock and they rub up front. I currently am running a 225/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear. No rubbing except for dips I take too fast.
