2000 ford ranger 2wd lift

whats the best lift kit for my truck without spending more than a grand, i dont want a body lift? should i just get 3inch spindles and a 2inch add a leaf or block? and will it be level i dont want the front to be higher than the rear.

3" spindles in the front and 2" whatevers in the back should give you the look you want. personally i would go with the add-a-leafs. i'm not a big fan of blocks.

i would go with a upper control arm lift, it will be a rougher ride but its 2.5in of travel. if you don't want a rougher ride and extra suspension travel then a spindle is perfect. As for the rear go with 3in blocks and a ladder bars to get rid of the axle wrap, a add a leaf will make your rear end bounce around allot.
