i started to make this post about a week ago, but my internet explorer locked up right as i was about to post...pissed me off..

so last year i went to body/fender class, somthing i'd wanted to do forever...i took my old tired looking f-250 in class and really turned it into a nice looking truck..i thought i'd share some pics of it with you guys..it was my first paint job and nowhere near perfect..but still very nice. the color is ford manderian copper which came on some rangers around 00 or so.

after class i decided i wanted to do somthing to set my explorer apart alittle from the rest, as if the mods didnt allready do that. i wanted it to look like a '03 harly f-150 which is silver and black. the new color is cappochino silver with a silver flake over it in the clear.

I really like it. Both of em!

wow really nice work. and I'm sure that your plow truck wont get lost in the snow with that color.

Nice work, both trucks look really sharp.

Do you have a toolbox for the F Series or just didn't feel like getting longer rails?

bingo, im waiting for a deal on a tool box and i also want a backrack for it..just havent came across a good deal yet..

thanks guys, i'm pretty happy with how they turned out. its def a learning experince haha but luckly no big issues came up with either of them. :icon_cheers:

What a difference a good paint job makes man!

I really like the way they came out. Nice touch with the black line to differentiate between the two colors on the Exploder.

I agree with all the above... Especially like that 3rd pic, that color is one of my favorites. Nice job, wish I took the time to learn the skills of bodywork / painting.

Awesome work. How'd you get into a body and paint class? Local tech school?

for high school students in my town there is a secondary type school that you can get into, its hard to get into..waiting lists and such but for juniors and seniors if you wanna go you pretty much can. i stayed on a waiting list for over a year to get into the body shop class..its the most popular class there is haha you do your normal classes for half the day and spend the other half at the tech school..its pretty fun :D

thanks again guys, i'm pretty proud of myself when people come up to me outta nowhere assking where i got my truck painted...and i can say i did it myself :)
